ABOUT DEAR DEER

I started drawing Dear Deer in 1999 as a package with 25 color cards. I decided to continue it as a comic series. When it reached 100 panels(each of them was in one panel and were not cartoon strips)I took it to HUMOUR & CARICATURE magazine. It's a monthly magazine in iran that JAVAD ALIZADEH, the famous Iranian cartoonist, is the editor of. He accepted and Dear Deer became a permanent page in the magazine from 2002 . I changed that to a comic strip collection (the format with a short series of panel that communicate a brief story) I published a book containing the first100 panels of Dear Deer in 2007. It was a successful experience and gave me the motivation to promote it as a international comic strip.I’m still working on now, each day with a new story ...
